Assessor Qualifications

Assessor Training

Are you looking to become an assessor? With a varied educational provision across the board, it is essential that you are able to put those final signatures on your learners evidence.

Assessor qualifications focus on the vocational aspect of a qualification, and give you the skills to plan and prepare an assessment, either in the workplace, or of vocational skills. This is often confused with the assessment unit in the Award in Education, however, can at time be very different.

Our Assessor courses are flexible programmes designed to cover the types of learners and assessments in your own specialism. Our delivery method includes the following:

  • Online – evidence is uploaded online including videos and assignments, mentoring and feedback takes place via email, telephone and/or video calling, final observations and lesson observations are completed via live video call
  • Blended learning – evidence is uploaded online including videos and assignments, however observations and tutorials takes place in the workplace.
  • Classroom based learning – you will be expected to attend lessons on a weekly or monthly basis to discuss teaching practice and criteria, and observations will take place in the workplace.

If you are unsure which route is best for you, feel free to get in touch with us and we will talk you through the options in more detail.
