We have a number of options for our Level 3 Award in Education and Training, because we know that one education programme won’t suit everyone!
Our L3 AET course is a flexible programme designed to be specific for your own planned job role with a range of optional units. Our delivery method includes the following:
- Online – evidence is uploaded online including videos and assignments, mentoring and feedback takes place via email, telephone and/or video calling, final observations and lesson observations are completed via live video call
- Blended learning – evidence is uploaded online including videos and assignments, however observations and tutorials takes place in the workplace.
- Classroom based learning – you will be expected to attend lessons on a weekly or monthly basis to discuss teaching practice and criteria, and observations will take place in the workplace.

VTCT Level 3 Award in Education and Training
The Award in Education and Training is an Ofqual regulated qualification aimed at starting your journey in the education and training sector. Popularly favoured by accreditation companies for those looking to pass on their skills and experience in a range of settings, including privately and publicly funded programmes. This qualification has been specifically designed for the 19+ age group to equip a wide range of teachers/trainers and facilitators with the requisite skills and knowledge required to fulfil a teaching role. This course covers preparation, planning and basic course design
There are no pre-requisites for this course. If you are studying this course online, you may need to have access to a group of learners for your observation.
This VTCT qualification has been mapped to the relevant National Occupational Standards, and is accredited on the Regulated Qualifications Framework.
