(Semi-Permanent Make Up)
Our semi-permanent make up (Micropigmentation) courses are designed to equip you with the skills to be able to provide quality semi permanent make up treatments to clients. Train with our qualified and insured instructors, and receive ongoing support after completion. Kits can be provided at an additional cost if you require, with a range of start up costs. All products and equipment are tested and approved for use.
Group classes are capped at 3 learners to ensure you have time and support with your tutor, and one-to-one training is also available if you prefer. Dates shown are scheduled group sessions – please contact us for available 1:1 dates.

We have a variety of options for our SPMU training packages. As a VTCT approved centre, we can offer a full VTCT Approved Level 4 Certificate in Micropigmentaion – this ensures that you are covered for licencing in any borough of the UK, and can gain insurance with any insurance company. This qualification shows that you have met the accepted regulated level of training for the UK.
To be able to gain VTCT approval, you will need to cover all 3 main areas – brows, lips and eyeliner. You will need to be assessed, and complete an written assignment.
To enrol on this course, you must hold a level 3 in beauty therapy. You are able to join if you hold level 3 Anatomy & Physiology, however, please check with your intended insurance company that this is sufficient as a pre-requisiste, as some may vary!
To ease you in gently, or for those who do not wish to learn all 3 areas, we are also able to offer accredited training in individual areas. These are accredited by Professional Beauty Direct, and are insured by many insurance companies.
If you would like to upgrade your training to VTCT regulated training, we can organise that for you at a later date, and of course, this is at a discounted price for our current learners.
Although the standards we teach to are the same as for the VTCT qualification, the individual certificates are not UK regulated, and therefore, we advise that you speak to your local licencing at the council for all of the venues you will want approved to ensure that they are happy to accept this qualification PRIOR to booking. We are of course happy to support your application with information about the course, and course content, but we are not able to guarantee that this will be suitable for all boroughs.
