Level 4 Certificate in Anatomy and Physiology for Aesthetics Practice

The Certificate provides learners with the knowledge and understanding of Anatomy and Physiology, focusing on the science to support the judgments and choices made routinely by practising aestheticians. The Certificate will enable learners to work independently and intuitively, with science at the core of the decision- making process. The Certificate will also provide opportunities for learners to develop the necessary competencies to move on to further study or employment.

This is a suitable pre-requisite for many of our accredited advanced training packages, including aesthetics, semi permanent make up, body sculpting and laser treatments. We continue to advise that you check with your intended insurance companies prior to booking courses that you are able to gain insurance with the qualification gained, as the insurance company requirements can vary widely. 

COURSE STRUCTURE

This is delivered as an online course, with evidence to be submitted for achievement, along with a set of examinations that must be undertaken at our centre in Colchester.

There may be opportunities to sit these exams online in the future, although these are not currently available at present.

PRE-REQUISITES

You must hold level 3 beauty therapy to be able to enrol on this course. An Ofqual Regulated L3 Anatomy and Physiology qualification is a widely accepted pre-requisite
