Make-up application - Accredited Course
Learn how to select, apply and instruct your clients on a range of aspects of make up application.
Covering identifying your clients skin type and most suitable products, to the application of the products to suit a range of occasions.
The theory element of this course will be delivered online PRIOR to attendance. Essential information will be recapped during the course, and you will have access to discuss any queries with a tutor throughout the online learning process.
This is a one day course, in which you will be working on live models. You will be required to submit
3 case studies and 1 knowledge quiz online. Kit purchase is optional.
You will receive a free brush set with this course
It is advisable that you hold a certificate in Facial Skin Care to be able to gain insurance with all insurers. If you would like to include a facial skin care certificate in with your make-up course, please select the combined course for a reduced price at checkout.

Consultation, conditions and contra-indications for make-up services. Application and removal techiques of core products, products knowledge, pre-care and aftercare for daytime and evening looks
Session 2 –
Practical skill assessment session
You will be required to submit a minimum of 3 case studies, and two assignments online prior to attending session 2.
You may also be required to sit online/paper based examinations, depending on the awarding organisation that is regulating your qualification. If this is required, this will be scheduled for the end of session 2

Make-up Application - Conversion Course
Already hold a Make-up certificate or experience that you are looking to update, or convert to a regulated qualification? We can help!
You will be required to submit evidence of your current certification or experience, and at least 3 current clients (within the last 3 months) that you have provided make up services for, and two assignments online prior to attending an assessment session. During the assessment session, you will be required to carry out a minimum of 3 make up treatments, including daytime, evening and special occasion using a range of make-up products.
You may also be required to sit online/paper based examinations, depending on the awarding organisation that is regulating your qualification. If this is required, this will be scheduled for the start of the assessment session.
One of our qualified assessors will evaluate your application, and inform you of whether you are required to attend a skills evaluation prior to your assessment session. It is important to note that a skills assessment is recommended in every case, as a prior qualification or experience does not guarantee you will be considered competent during your assessment session. Your competency is assessed on performance during your assessment session, along with your supporting assignment and examination where required.
