Facial Waxing Course - Professional Beauty Direct Accredited
Learn the basics of a traditional method of hair removal, focussing on the eyebrows, upper lip, chin and sides of the face.
The theory element of this course will be delivered online PRIOR to attendance. Essential information will be recapped during the course, and you will have access to discuss any queries with a tutor throughout the online learning process.
This 1 day training course will ensure you have the knowledge and skills to c safely and effectively remove hair. This session will involve practice on a live model (We do all we can to supply models for these dates however you may be asked to support this where necessary).
Session 1 –
Intro to hair removal using wax, essential hygiene and safety requirements, basic brow mapping, hair removal from the brow, lip, chin and cheek area
You will be required to submit a minimum of 3 case studies, and 1 knowledge quiz online prior to certification.

Learn the basics of a traditional method of hair removal, using hot and warm wax. Covering legs, underarms, bikini line, brows, upperlip and chin areas.
The theory element of this course will be delivered online PRIOR to attendance. Essential information will be recapped during the course, and you will have access to discuss any queries with a tutor throughout the online learning process.
This 2 day training course will ensure you have the knowledge and skills to safely and effectively remove hair. This session will involve practice on a live model (We do all we can to supply models for these dates however you may be asked to support this where necessary).
Session 1 – Introduction to waxing – products, pre care and aftercare. Safe & hygienic application and removal of a range of wax products – minimum full leg wax
Session 2 –
Recap. Bikini line, underarms, brow, lip and chin practical session.
You will be required to submit a minimum of 4 case studies, and 1 knowledge quiz online prior to certification.

Learn the basics of a traditional method of hair removal, using hot and warm wax. Covering legs, underarms, bikini line, brows, upperlip and chin areas.
The theory element of this course will be delivered online PRIOR to attendance. Essential information will be recapped during the course, and you will have access to discuss any queries with a tutor throughout the online learning process.
This 3 day training course will ensure you have the knowledge and skills to meet the Ofqual regulated unit at Level 2. All sessions will involve practice on a live model (We do all we can to supply models for these dates however you may be asked to support this where necessary), and you will be able to add a kit to your booking so that you are able to complete case studies ahead of session3.
If you prefer, we can arrange time for you to complete your case studies at the centre, allowing you to invest in your choice of products and kits after you have gained your qualification.
Session 1 –
Introduction to waxing – products, pre care and aftercare. Safe & hygienic application and removal of a range of wax products – minimum full leg wax
Session 2 –
Recap. Bikini line, underarms, brow, lip and chin practical session.
Session 3 -
Practical skill assessment session
You will be required to submit a minimum of 4 case studies, and two assignments online prior to attending session 3.
You may also be required to sit online/paper based examinations, depending on the awarding organisation that is regulating your qualification. If this is required, this will be scheduled for the end of session 2

Waxing - Conversion Course
Already hold a waxing certificate or experience that you are looking to update, or convert to a regulated qualification? We can help!
You will be required to submit evidence of your current certification or experience, and at least 3 current clients (within the last 3 months) that you perform waxing treatments for, and two assignments online prior to attending an assessment session. During the assessment session, you will be required to carry out a minimum of 4 waxing treatments, including full leg wax, bikini line wax, underarm, brow and one facial area.
You may also be required to sit online/paper based examinations, depending on the awarding organisation that is regulating your qualification. If this is required, this will be scheduled for the start of the assessment session.
One of our qualified assessors will evaluate your application, and inform you of whether you are required to attend a skills evaluation prior to your assessment session. It is important to note that a skills assessment is recommended in every case, as a prior qualification or experience does not guarantee you will be considered competent during your assessment session. Your competency is assessed on performance during your assessment session, along with your supporting assignment and examination where required.

Female Intimate Waxing Course - Professional Beauty Direct Accredited
Learn how to safely and quickly remove hair from the bikini line and surrounding female intimate areas, maintaining client modesty and gaining an effective result.
The theory element of this course will be delivered online PRIOR to attendance. Essential information will be recapped during the course, and you will have access to discuss any queries with a tutor throughout the online learning process.
This 1 day course is for experienced waxers. You do not need to hold any experience of intimate waxing, but you must be confident with standard bikini line waxing. This session will involve practice on a live model (Due to the nature of this treatment, you will be asked to supply this model).
Session 1 – Introduction to intimate waxing – products, pre care and aftercare. Safe & hygienic application and removal of a range of wax products and techniques to suit the treatment
You will be required to submit a minimum of 4 case studies, and 1 knowledge quiz online prior to certification.
